The project identifies how people around the Baltic Sea use and regard the Baltic Sea. As a part of PROBAPS, it will be followed by studies in Baltic Sea countries on the benefits of an improved marine environment.
The first results were published in September 2010.
3. Cost modelling and minimisation BNI/NERI
Led by Berit Hasler, BNI/NERI (Denmark)
In cooperation with the Department of Economic Sciences at the University of Warsaw (Poland) and the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences (Sweden) cost functions for measures to mitigate and abate eutrophication of the Baltic Sea are estimated.
4. Mini Baltic Stern
Led by Thorsten Blenckner, Baltic Nest Institute (Sweden)
The project will deliver calculations on the values and costs of commercial fisheries in the Baltic Sea.
